About this project
A panel floor in the salon of a 1920s villa. We drew the layout so no narrow off-cuts were left at the walls and the pattern lines up with the axis of the windows. Before laying we dried the substrate and measured it with a moisture meter, because a house from the twenties is often damper underneath than expected. The surface is oiled in two coats to take the traffic of a reception room.
