Restoring an oak floor with the Hastal pattern in an attic flat.
The pattern was worth saving, so it did not come up. We re-glued loose pieces, replaced missing ones and sanded and oiled the whole surface. The hardest part was under the sloping ceiling and along the curved wall, where the pieces had been cut to fit when the floor was first laid.
