About this project
The original panel floor after sanding, during the new oil application — finished on the left, bare wood on the right.
The panels stayed where they were. We sanded the old finish back to sound wood, replaced damaged pieces with oak of the same grade and oiled the surface again. The difference between the two halves shows what oil does to bare wood.
