About this project
Original oak parquet from the early twentieth century. We sanded it back, replaced the missing pieces with matching timber and finished the surface with oil. Loose blocks were glued down before sanding, otherwise they would work free again under the machine. The sanding was done with dust extraction on site, so the owners did not have to move out.
